We recently stayed at this hotel, having read so many good things about it. The hotel building and the location are excellent, and the hotel lobby with its high ceiling, the large stairways all decorated for the year-end season look really nice, although sitting in the hotel lobby you could hear loud noices of cups and saucers, plates and spoons rattling against each other coming from the upper ground restaurant.
It was a very nice fresh feel as you stepped out of the lift with the seemingly new lighting, wall panel and carpet. The disappointment came when you went inside the room - it was really quite tiny, including the bathroom. While we managed with our queen-double room, our children's twin-bedded room with an extra bed that we requested for just looked and felt so crammed. To allow them more space we have to bring their baggages over to our room. If the hotel has slightly enlarged the room size, say add another 50 - 80 sq ft, it would provide very comfortable stay indeed. I was told the room size as it is is 220 sq.ft or so and trust me, I have no idea that 220 sq. ft is so small.
The rooms we had were clean, and came with nice partial harbour view in the day as well as night with lights up in and around the area.

First timers in Hongkong,my husband and i had a superb experience not just with the views and shopping sprees but with the excellent service of BP Int'l Hotel.It is at the heart of hongkong.You can even take a walk from there up to the lavish and popular boutiques,Kowloon Park,Victoria Harbour,night harbour, and if you want more exercises,-to Mongkok Market!Whew,you can't ask for more with the location of the hotel.Life is hard for us ordinary people here in manila but if we can have extra savings again,i would love to be booked again in BP.It is one of those I miss most in Hongkong!

This hotel was in a great location just off Nathan road. The hotel intself was very nice and the front desk and service was good.
The room and bathroom were alittle bit small but when you are out sightseeing and shopping all day this does not matter. We had a great view from our room and we were not on the top floor !!! As for Hong Kong itself, we stayed for 4 nights and this was abit too long and we were ready for our onward journey after the 3rd day. A visit to Kowloon Park behind the hotel is very nice with lots of stuff to look at.

We had the great fortune to stay at this Hotel during a visit to Hong Kong in November. We purchased an Octopus card at the airport which not only took us directly to the hotel but this card could also be used at other outlets, for example if you wished to buy water or other things at certain shops, and other travel around Hong Kong. We also used it to travel back to the airport when leaving and any credit not used was returned to us. An excellent idea. The hotel was very well situated and within walking distance to the Star ferry. The lobby of the hotel was very impressive and the breakfast was varied and more than adequate. The staff were very helpful. Our room was not huge but then we did not spend much time there. The room was kept very clean and overall, staying here was a Good Choice. I would certainly return and have no reservations about recommending it.
