The rooms are clean and quite roomy. I was worried that the rooms were going to be small since I only booked regular rooms, but it turned out to be pretty good. It can be tight if you have 4 ppl in one room. We had only two and it was totally fine.
The service was pretty good at the front desk, they were pretty helpful and nice.
The views of the lobby of the hotel was beautiful. In the morning or night, you can walk around the area by the water. The harbour view is really nice. The view from the gym and pool is fantastic. The size of the pool is not as big as shown on the hotel's website. But the view makes up for it. the gym is pretty ok for a hotel gym.
You are close to the ferry (3 min walk). You can take it to Central, WanChai and NorthPoint. It's faster than mtr. The area has lots of shopping and good restaurants. There's also a delicious bakery down the block where i get breakfast almost every morning. THere's also a famous dessert place around the area too. In terms of location, the only bad thing is that it's not close to one. It's about 5 mins cab or bus ride away. But this is the place to be if you want to be away from the crowd in the morning. The hotel area is very residential so it's not packed when you walk downstairs. If you walk further out (1-2 blocks), you get all the stores you need like shopping, restaurants, 7-11, pharmacy, etc.
Excellent stay and I will definitely go back again!

I selected the Harbour Plaza based on reviews found here on Tripadvisor.com, and they couldn't have been more accurate. What a lovely, tranquil, well appointed place this is with an abiding staff. Being away from the TST is a plus for me, though the hotel shuttle can get you there in 15 minutes with its every half-hour service. Ferry terminal is a short walk away, and so is the Whampoa shopping district which has lovely restaurants and stores.
My room, a harbor view on the 18th floor, was gorgeous. I never heard a single sound on my floor, but when I left at 7 in the morning for a ferry ride, nearly every door had a newspaper hanging from it, indicating the place was pretty well sold out.
I suspect the Harbour Plaza restaurants are fine, but I prefer to eat outside of a hotel and the Whampoa Gourmet Market has a lovely Chinese restaurant with very good dim sum at a very reasonable price. The area has a long waterfront walk and several greenspaces and couldn't be more abiding.
This was my first visit to Hong Kong and I will definitely return. The Harbour Plaza will always be my hotel.

Before our stay in the hotel, I thought we made a mistake of choosing this hotel since it is far from the busy streets of Tsim Sha Tsui. But as soon as we arrived at the hotel, I knew that our stay would be terrific. I booked for a courtside view room, but when I asked for an upgrade to a harbourview, the hotel staff immediately upgraded us. The room was really big and clean, bathroom was great specially the shower room. The view of the harbour specially in the morning was amazing. For people like us who like to go by ourselves, the proximity of Hong Hum Ferry Station was an added plus and the free shuttle bus service was great. The rooftop swimming pool area was beautiful, although we were not able to try it because of our busy schedule.

Breakfast was OK although the choices of foods were the same everyday. We were expecting some varieties everyday. Last but not the least, the staff was very courteous and accomodating.

We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to Hongkong.

was in hong kong from the 3rd of dec to the 7th and thanks to harour plaza it was a memorable one. although, i missed out on seeing much of the hotel cos of my busy schedule, the sea side view in the night is oh so awesome.just sitting on the benches besides the sea with the serenity along side the high rises makes for one of the most picturesque views.the hotel staff were very helpful.and yes the location of the hotel is ideal for all those shoppers with plenty of malls all over the place. also, mong kok and nathan road are a $30 cab ride away.so its cool...i wouldnt think twice before booking my stay here the next time i am in hong kong.
