“Brilliant atmosphere”

Spent one night in this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel...i was expecting more 'hostel' than hotel.

The entrance to the hotel is in the middle of the market but don't be put off because the rooms are quiet and private and i slept like a baby. The water was warm and it was a proper shower head! (just make sure you turn the shower on at the power) the downside to the bathroom was it was more of a wet room meaning that the water from the shower would take a while drain from the bathroom floor meaning you'd get wet feet if you go back into the bathroom

There was a fan in the room but there was also an air con vent which was quite and super efficient....perhaps ask for extra blankets as i woke up in the night and i was cold so had put on an extra blanket - bear in mind it was perhaps 19degrees outside!!

They really do enforce the no unmarried couples sharing a room thing as they have a big sign above the desk. there is a curfew of 2am also.

You could not ask for a better location from this hotel...dome of the rock, wailing wall and cardo are all no more than 5 min walk at most!!!

there is so much light in the hotel owing to the atrium style roof.it is a nice feature how the floors are all open plan...ie you can see down from the 2nd floor to the ground floor and up to the atrium style roof

Would stay here again even if i had a better budget because the atmosphere of the hotel fitted its setting perfectly! Super value for money....i booked before i came onlin and paid 55$ for one night/twin room including taxes which was excellent for August!

There was no heating so both the room and the lounge where you get breakfast was freezing cold. We complained and got a small electric heater but we had to turn it off when taking shower. There was only cold water in the tap and power shower gave only tepid water. Because the room was cold it was also damp and smelly. After one night we decided to move out in the morning, but we were charged for another night. If you are not sure if you want to stay longer don’t pay for more than one night. On the other hand, it's cheap.

“Great Owners”

The rooms are small and simple and not as sparkling clean as I would have liked, but the hotel owners and staff more than made up for that..they were wonderful, helpful, protective, and kind.

The hashime hotel in the old city of jerusalem was not what I expected based on what I read on the internet. No air conditioning, no internet, very unclean, no free breakfast, etc. However, the staff was nice and helpful and the price was good.
