“Stylish Service, lovely hotel”

Stayed here a couple of nights on the way through. Initially concerned the hotel would be a ways from the action but the complimentary ferry gets you to and from the action.

In many ways it was nice after a hectic day to drift over to the other side and soak up at the great pool that overlooks the river.

Service excellent, rooms were in good shape and nice bathrooms. We stayed on the 11th floor in an executive room and had a nice view.

Have stayed elsewhere in Bangkok and this would be top of the list.

“Thumbs Up for Hilton Bangkok”

Stayed for 2 nights at the Hilton Bangkok in April. Joined the spouse on a business trip where we were upgraded to a suite. Room is just enormous with separate bedroom and work/living room area. Spotlessly clean, and with a fantastic sweeping view of the Chao Phraya.

Was easy to get to and from the airport as well. The highway is just a couple of turns away. The river boat shuttle was really useful in getting to the BTS station on the opposite side of the river, which links you to all the major parts of town - from Chatuchak to Siam Paragon to wherever it is you want to go.

Highly recommended hotel.

“Fine hotel with great views”

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hilton on a three day stopover in Bangkok. I confess I chose the Hilton as I had some Honours points to redeem but I'm certainly glad I did.

All I can say is - I wish we had Hiltons to the same standard in the UK as this!

All the staff were brilliant and soooooo polite and helpful. My room was more a suite. Huge bedroom and bathroom with walk in wetroom shower.

The proximity to the river means that you can pack in some great sightseeing in a relatively short space of time as there are frequent ferry boats to important temples and palaces along the river bank. Also, the Hilton has its own ferry so getting to the big River City shopping centre on the opposite bank is easy. Lots of shops, craft stalls, restaurants and a taxi rank here.

The hotel has great leisure facilities and I also miss the great breakfasts sitting outside on the terrace watching the river traffic.

Be careful of taxi and tuk-tuk drivers who want to take you to gem and tailoring shops for their commission. However, get to know your driver a little and he'll take you to the best bargain stores and restaurants. I got a great made to measure suit and perfect shirts on the strength of this.

What a great introduction to Thailand - my first trip here - and I then travelled to Chiang Mai in the north on business which was great too. I'm longing to get back - the people were so friendly and welcoming everywhere.

“Greal Hotel, Great Views”

Millennium Hilton Bangkok

Hotel Millennium Hilton is a terrific gateway to Bangkok. The riverside location gives you a great possibility to feel the specific Bangkok's vibe. There is nothing to criticise in Millennium Hilton. This is a new hotel with modern design and great attention to the details. The service quality was really high. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. I really recommend it.

“Best hotel in Bangkok!! (Biased, but true)!!!!!”

Spent 4 nights here before moving onto Koh Samui.

The hotel is amazing!!!

The staff are very attentive and always have a smile for you. We stayed in one of the Executive Suites, which offered entry to the Executive Lounge. Here you could drink and a nibble any time through the day or night, which is included within the room price. There is free bar between 18.00 and 20.00, where beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks are served.

There is a bar on top of the hotel, which called the 360 lounge; this offers a fantastic view over the city whilst sipping a glass or two of champagne. Usually, there is a live band softly playing music in the background, typically Jazz.

The hotel has it's own pool and beach located on one of the terraces, which apparently is the only beach in Bangkok.

The buffet @ Flow on the ground floor is pretty impressive, although it's not 'traditional Thai' the choice and quality is unbelievable.

The price of food/drink is considerably higher than what you would pay in Bangkok itself, but worth it if you don't like slumming it!

Would definitely recommend this hotel to both friends, family and travellers alike.
