“Good Value, good hotel”

Radisson Hotel Bangkok

A good value hotel. Large rooms with modern amenities and large lobby area. The only problem with this hotel is the location - surrounded by motorways, you can only get to anywhere via taxi, which are cheap, but if you are visiting for the first time, I think a hotel where you can walk and see the sites would be better. I have stayed in many bangkok hotels and found this one to be of a high standard at a cheap price which represents excellent value for money, however, for the same money I would recommend The Century Park hotel, which is nearer the tourist/shopping centres at the same price, or the Grand President on Sukhamvit Road. If you have already booked this hotel you ill however, not be disappointed.

For what you pay,the Radisson in Bangkok is the best value hotel I have ever stayed in.
It is priced cheaply because it is a bit out of the way but please dont let it put you off,the hotel runs shuttles and the taxis are really reasonable. Its about a $4 ride to the centre.
The rooms are lovely, the bar on the top floor gives you great views of the city and the food is great. It has a nice pool and gym area.

All in all,well worth it.

“Very GoodHotel - Great Value”

Great Value hotel - we were well-treated from the moment we arrived. Very clean room, well-maintained, great breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff. It is a bit out of the way but not too inconvenient. There are hourly free courtesy-bus rides to the nearby underground/MRT station and all taxi drivers know how to get there. The only downer was that we were put on a smoking floor, and I'd asked for non-smoking, so I'd recommend that if you are really particular about that, make sure before you book in. After a few days in Bangkok it doesn't matter anyway I think. Otherwise I'd definitely stay there again

“Best Bangkok Hotel”

Radisson Hotel Bangkok

Feb 13, 2006
5/5 found this review helpful

Where should I begin? We were greeted with a welcome cocktail by female staff who welcomed us wearing beautiful traditional Thai clothing. The rooms were excellent, clean, comfortable, and my wife and I felt right at home. Free Shuttle service would take us everyday to different shopping malls and attractions. Inside the Hotel there is a for-pay tour operator which took us on a tour to Dream World, Wat Po, Wat Arun, and Bangkok Gems Factory. The staff write down the license number of the Taxi you enter. They even helped by giving the taxi drivers' directions. Very helpful staff and the concierge is most helpful. There is a very good Chinese restaurant in the Radisson that I must recommend. My wife loved the pool and I loved the huge gym. There were personal trainers in the gym who helped me with my workout. All in all, the Radisson is a great hotel. Many people say the Radisson is far from the city center. Nothing that a 3 dollar taxi ride wont solve! I definetly recommend all travelers stay here.
