Business serviceAs part of a conference we were advised to book into the Agora Garden and we were not disappointed. We arranged for a twin suite with living area and kitchen. Our stay was only for three nights but it was wonderful. The hotel is very clean, with many amenities and luxurious details. The bathroom was marble tiled and granite counter with both a bath and a walk-in shower. The staff were fantastic, all speaking English (some better than others) and very gracious (as are all Taiwanese - excepting some of the taxi drivers who barely stay clear of you when crossing the street). The money paid was very reasonable for this class of hotel room and the restaurant prices are also reasonable for the quality of food that is available. The hotel is close proximity to high end shopping and the Taiwan 101 building. We would recommend this property highly.

Business serviceWe stayed at Agora Garden for 2 nights in May 07. The hotel is very elegant. Our room is a suite overlooking Taipei 101. Beds were very comfortable. We especially like the spacious bathroom and shower area. Wonderful buffet breakfast with delicious pastry, fresh fruits and yummy Chinese style dishes. It is only 2 blocks to the underground transit, 2 blocks to the shopping centers and 4 blocks to Taipei 101. The only draw back is that a cap was required to use the swimming pool and no swimwear allowed in the spa (very strange rule for a U.S. resident). It will be nice if they post those information in the room prior our visit to the pool/spa. Other than that the staffs were friendly and fluent in English. Overall, we enjoy our stay and we highly recommend this hotel.

Business serviceWe stayed at the Agora Graden for six days in April 2006. The reason for our trip was to adopt a little baby boy, and we were recommended this hotel by our adoption organization. Although the Agora Garden seemed to be more of a business hotel, it was also fine for a family. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a kitchenette. The kitchenette had glasses, plates, cups etc, but was not really equipped for cooking your own food. There was no microwave, but it may have been possible to request one, we did not try. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, offering both Chinese and Western food. There was also a lunch buffet (called "tea" I think...) which was also great and good value. The tea buffet included a small help yourself ice cream bar which of course was a success with our 4-year-old. We tried the indoor swimming pool once. It was virtually empty (of people I mean, not of water...), but a bit cold. There were computers in the lobby which you could use for free internet access. I would definitely recommend the Agora Garden and would gladly stay there again.

ServiceStayed there twice while traveling to Taipei for business. Great location, convenient to everywhere with a cab ride. Arrange to have the hotel pick you up with their Lexus when you arrive at the airport. It is not that much more expensive compared to cabs. I stayed in suite rooms and they are very large and comfortable. Good enough to even have business meetings in the living room. Rooms are well furnished and very clean. Highly recommended!
