Business serviceThis place is located about 3 miles from downtown and 2 miles from Georgia Square Mall. Quite place and very clean room. The complimentary breakfast is simple but good for the price of the stay. Free wifi.
Drawbacks: shower water pressure not good. TV is small. And very noisy in early morning when a lot of people are checking out.

Check in was quick. Hotel was clean.
Room was set up with two queen beds with a desk and a place to sit by the window. Very clean and well maintained. Shower had good water pressure. I forgot my wireless card at home they give me at front desk. New Bedding very attractive and Comfy.

Business serviceI have stayed in a few Microtels and they were pretty nice for a lower tier hotel. Some websites say "Microtel Inn & Suites". Take the Suite off because there are no suites at this hotel in Athens. I found the staff to be very friendly. Now down to the room. It was smelly and the cushions had stains on them. The clientele were pretty shady. Was approached in the parking lot and followed to room. Pretty scary. I wont be staying here again when I return to Athens.

Business serviceConsidering the room was only around $60/night...it was okay...I guess. The room smelled funny (well, the whole hotel smelled funny, but I normally don't mind as long as my room at least smells normally), and was very hot and muggy when we first arrived. We immediately turned the A/C on, which helped after a while. The room was porn-tastic. Seriously, there was a mirror behind the bed seving as a headboard. That's not exactly the definition of classy, if you ask me. The sheets were pretty rough, and there was a small blood stain on them. As gross as it was, it was at least taken care of quickly. We simply asked the front desk person (who was very nice! Everyone we talked to was nice!) for a new sheet and explained why (note, we definitely weren't complaining...just wanting another sheet). He gave us a new sheet, apologized, then called up to the room a little while later to make sure everything was okay, and took $10 off the rate for the night.
I don't think I'll stay there again, but for one night, at what only ended up being $50 for the night, it wasn't horrible.
