Americus Garden Inn Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I have been behind the scene's of Inn Keeping so we know a bit about the "biz". We've also stayed in B and B's world wide.

Never...have we stayed in a more comfortable atmosphere than the Americus Garden Inn. :0)

Kim greeted us at the door. He showed us the house, made us aware of where we could get dinner (it was Sunday) and helped us upstairs to our beautiful room. He didn't overlook one detail to make sure we had everything and saw to it we were comfortable for the night. Thank you so much Kim..:0)

The home is large, well appointed and CLEAN. Every inch of it...amazing. Susan your a gem <3 She's a wonderful cook. I feel like I should say "Chef" since the food and the way she serves it is so upscale. Awesome! A breakfast at her table is a feast for the eye's and the tummy.

Our room was beautiful. Huge, decorated beautifully, comfortable and the cleanest room I've ever been in. Yes...I peeked to see if it was clean in places most people don't look :0P I'm telling you...Susan is AMAZING :0)

During our two day stay every need was anticipated and taken care of. When you visit with either of them you feel like your with family. Truly I've never felt at more home...away from home. They're both kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the home as well as the surrounding area. Neither of them ever seemed in hurry and took time to visit with us. They make you feel as if they genuinely cared about you. That's a quality sorely lacking in any business, let alone Inn Keeping. Inn Keeping is hard, hard work. Both of them seem very relaxed and make you feel the same way. Kudos to you both.

While a tornado took many of the old growth plants and trees around the home, I'm confident with the love and care I see going into the new garden..the grounds are going to be breathtaking.

Thank you both for making everything about our side trip to Americus and Andersonville .....simply PERFECT<3

“Where history meets romance”

Americus Garden Inn Bed & Breakfast

Our group of four was warmly welcomed by Susan as we arrived. After we signed in, Susan tells you the history of the home along with a guided tour.
The Inn has all the details you would want in a historical property, from the grand staircase, high ceilings and great woodwork details. They have a baby grand piano in the living room for guest to play and we were lucky enough to listen to its wonderful sound.
Our rooms were charming, comfortble and clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the nightly turndown service with chocolates.
The breakfast in the mornings were always hot and satisfying and beautifully presented. We had three different breakfasts during our stay and each were truly the best, from the muffins to egg casseroles, to pancakes, Yum!
Kim and Susan went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. They definitely take pride in what they do. It was a wonderful experience and we recommend the Americus Garden Inn to everyone. The Inn "where history meets romance'.

“Americus Garden Inn Best B&B We Have Ever Stayed In!”

Americus Garden Inn Bed & Breakfast

Apr 18, 2008

My wife & I stayed at the Americus Garden Inn Bed & Breakfast last Easter Weekend for our third wedding anniversary and it is wonderful! It is the best B&B we have ever stayed in.

Owner-operators Kim & Susan are gracious and thoughtful hosts, ever so helpful with local attractions and restaurants, being right on with their advice and tips.

The property is a well-maintained, grand historic home, updated with modern amenities. Our room, Scarlett's Suite, is spacious, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and has a large private bath, equipped with both a garden tub and a separate shower.

Susan’s breakfasts are to die for, with the variety of homemade pancakes amazing.

Kim & Susan have combined the best of traditional hotels and B&B’s into something they should patent!

We will be going back again.

“A relaxing weekend in Americus”

Americus Garden Inn Bed & Breakfast

Apr 16, 2008

A delightful experience! The inn keepers were extremely knowledgeable of the property and surrounding areas. They were very attentive and concerned over our well being ...but not in our way . The breakfast was made to order and excellent. We will welcome another opportunity to visit and stay with these lovely folks.

We were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and staying at Americus Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast made it even more special. We were greeted at the door right when we got there and greeted every time we came and went as if it were our own home. The breakfasts that Susan fixed were fabulous. We truly enjoyed our weekend spending time with each other. We will definitely be back there! We would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone who needs a get away!
