My family and I stayed at the Ramada Inn Maingate in Anaheim for the Disney Half-marathon. Since we had never visited Disneyland before, we went early to visit the park as well. I was able to get two adjacent rooms - connected, so my family (wife and 3 kids) could be together; that was very convenient. We loved the location. We didn't need to drive once we got there; we could walk anywhere we needed to go. We loved the pool, it was clean, large (plenty of room), and refreshing! The room was also more than needed. It was large, comfortable, and also clean. The staff was very friendly and willing to help out, since we'd never been to Disneyland before. We were able to buy Disney admission tickets right there at the hotel. I will definately stay there again!

I read reviews of this hotel and was a little apprehensive but with my stay of 8 nights, I had no complaints at all. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and even received a call after check in to make sure everything was ok. The breakfast was typical of the free continental breakfast, donuts, buns, cereal and toast but was no better or worse than most motels that I have stayed at. It was very nice to pick up your breakfast and sit by the pool and enjoy it.
The proximity to Disneyland was a bonus and after many days of sore feet from sight seeing etc it was nice not to have to stand in long lines waiting for a shuttle. I could certainly recommend this hotel (motel) and would stay there again on another visit.

Clean rooms and facility, enjoyable continental breakfast by the pool, prompt and courteous service, closing walking distance to Disneyland and California Adventure.

We have just returned from a short "Forth of July" getaway in Anaheim at the Ramada Inn Maingate. The hotel was the perfect location for the cost, it being just across the street, we couldn't have asked for anything better. There was a few things we appreciated, one being the air conditioner, since we came during a warmer time of the year. Another thing that was great was the continental breakfast, with the parks costing so much it was nice to have breakfast served each morning. In addition to saving some money with the breakfast they sell discounted tickets to the parks too. I would absolutely recommend and revisit this hotel on our next visit.
