“Great Value”

Ramada Plaza Anaheim Resort

I stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel to be a great value. I paid only $89 per night for a 2 bed double. The positives are that the hotel is clean and the staff are all very pleasent and helpful. The lobby is nice and the rooms have a microwave and frig. Wireless internet is available and when it did go down I received a call from the front desk that it was back up. The only problem I encountered was the iron and ironing board were bad. But, they replaced them both without question. The beds aren't the most comfortable but for $89 they are fine. The carpets in the room and the sheets are not unlike a high volume hotel near a popular attraction. The carpet had a stain (Iron burn mark) and so did the sheets -- the sheets were clean as was the carpet. It is very close to Disney. Overall this is a great value and the rooms are just fine. BTW: I stayed on the 2nd floor and did not smell the Indian restaurant odors at all.

“A Nice Place to Stay”

We spent 2 nights here in mid-September. We had a very nice room on the 4th floor. It was a Deluxe Family room with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. There were 5 of us and it was not too cramped. The furnishings were new and clean, the bathroom was also very clean. We did not at anytime notice any wafting scents from the Indian restaurant downstairs. The desk staff were courteous and very helpful. The below ground parking was free and convenient. We did use the pool and jacuzzi at non- traditional hours and had them nearly to ourselves. I imagine during the height of summer vacation season it could get quite crowded. We also made use of the free internet access in the hotel room as one of us was on a working holiday, as well as the computer setup with internet access and a printer in the lobby. Hint: very nice for airline checkin and printing boarding passes.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. After reading the reviews I was very weary of this hotel, but could not cancel becouse I used priceline. We got a very good deal , even better price than the super 8. The beds were very hard , as were the pillows, though my sister loved the firmness of her bed. The bathrooms were a nice size, but did not have a fan!! This means when you use the bathroom, the smell just fills the room. The water pressure was very weak and the hot water came and went. Also, I am not 100% sure how this happened but after the first night in the bed I awoke with three bites on my leg. During the night I felt as though little bugs were crawling on me, but was so exhausted I thought it was my imagination. My sister, who was in another room also had bites. The good points is that the front desk is very nice and helpful, they put us on the top floor as we had requested, the rooms were a nice size and they were clean, parking in the garage was nice and always enough parking spaces. Overall I would not stay here again, due to the hard beds , no fan in the bath room and the mysterious bug bites.

“You might get a good room, you might not.”

Many different sizes of rooms, some very small. However, even the smallest can apparently be called a mini-suite if that's what you've reserved or paid for. The larger rooms are adequate, the smaller ones are not if you're travelling with a family. The manager will attempt to convince you that all the rooms are the same; they aren't even close to the same in size. Otherwise, the rooms are OK for the price, but tend to be noisy from adjoining and overhead rooms, air conditioning is noisy, and carpets will turn your feet black quickly in the way that hotel carpets that are vacuumed but rarely cleaned often do. Pool is small and relatively shallow, basically good for kids only. Location and parking are excellent. Basically, if you get one of the larger rooms, it can be a decent value; it depends how lucky you feel!

0. It's 10min from disneyland
1. The price is OK...
2. The rooms are dirty, the furnishing dingy, the carpet stained.
3. The staff allowed the drunks next door to party all night...the excuse was that they were hawaiins... wierd!!!
4. The floors are thin...the guys above us walked on their heels.. every step reverberated...

We got a mini-suite (more mini than sweet..)
