I recenty stayed at this property for one night on a Disneyland vacation. This hotel was pretty impressive from the outside and the proximity to Disney was superb! It is about a 15 min walk to the front gate.
Once inside however, the real deal is more apparent. This hotel was in the middle of a major rennovation! A temporary check-in counter had been erected off to the side and a large portion of the lobby was walled off. I was a little surprised since their staff had told me over the phone that the constuction was complete. Even with all the remodeling going on, this is still a beautiful hotel.
Our room accommodations were sub-par for a Hilton and the 'Lanai Floor' room with balcony we paid extra for turned out to just be a ground level room with a huge sliding glass door out to the pool area. This was somewhat less romantic than I had been expecting!
Overall this hotel is pretty nice and I suspect will be fantastic once the remodeling is done but in the meantime provides only marginal comfort from a luxury hotel chain that usually does so much more.
PLUSES:
+really fancy lobby
+good location to Disneyland
MINUSES:
+rooms not that nice
+Lanai balcony rooms misleading
