I submitted a review for this hotel in June after a pleasant stay. I just returned from staying at this hotel again August 11 to 14. In general my comments from my previous review are still true. This time I was placed in a room that had a door connecting to another guestroom. The noise coming in from the next room was intolerable, it sounded like their 3 children were in my room, there was no insulation at all! I asked the front desk to move me to a different room, they very happily did so and offered their apologies. My new room was right next to the icemachine so I expected more noise. I was pleasantly surprised that the new room was very quiet even with the adjacent ice machine. I was able to sleep well and the only noise that I heard was a siren from the street outside. The room itself was comfortable and, just like in my last review, had a great view of the City. There are numerous outlets. The shower gets very hot and high pressure, so yes as other reviewers note its gets steamy - but thats a small price to pay for a refreshing shower. Too often I have stayed in hotels that are "low flow" - this place is a fire hose! The room's coffee maker did not seem to work properly, but take out coffee is available in the restaurant in the lobby. Parking remains $23/day. A cocktail from the lobby bar was $9.35, pretty steep. But I don't mind the "nickle and diming" on the extras if it means the room rates are kept low - I was paying $86/night this time. Again, there are some things that have slipped, the elevators are a little quirky, the bathrooms a little small, but for these prices it remains "the best deal in town" as I wrote with review in June.
