I’ve stayed at a number of DC hotels, but the staff at the Comfort Inn was even better than hotels that cost three times as much. Their manager is in the breakfast room every morning pouring coffee and talking to guest to make sure they’re having a good stay. He even gave us tips on site seeing, and where to eat along the way. It helps when you have a local giving you tips.

The room was small, but VERY clean. We will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Not right in the middle of town but close enough to walk to the Mall, White House etc, and has lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

Our room was nice, the staff were pleasant and helpful, there is a PC with free internet access, free newspapers etc and a decent light breakfast. There is a guest laundry with coin oeprated machines as well which is really helpful.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn for two nights while at a conference. At a discounted rate of $99.00 a night I found the hotel to be good value for the money (given hotel prices in DC!) but nothing grand. Room was very small but clean and the bed comfortable. I found the staff helpful and polite and breakfast was ok - espcially for the price - free. I will stay again if I can get a discount price. At the rack rate for this hotel there are many better places to stay in in DC.

Hotel was well located, convenient to trains. Offered a decent breakfast. Room was semi-clean, not great.

I booked with Hotwire which was a disaster. The hotel said that Hotwire never sent them the confirmation and so my hotel room was not reserved, even though I had the printout of the confirmation with me. Only after several hours and many phone calls with Hotwire did the hotel give me a room. By then, it was late night and I had to miss out on all my evening plans (night tour, etc) because I had to sort out the confirmation issues with Hotwire. Luckily, I got a room in the end, and unluckily, it was a stinky smoking room. Hotwire was not very helpful or professional about this matter and I will not use them again.
