This is a great hotel. We stayed over a weekend and thought that the price was really good value for money. The position can't be beaten for viewing all the significant sights of DC - just round the corner from the White House. The staff are amazingly helpful, especially door staff and the concierge, Mark, who can arrange anything and has all the facts and details of each sight at his fingertips. The rooms are A1 with 42" HD TVs and the beds are really comfortable. There is complementary coffee in the bar until 10.30 am, but unfortunately, no coffee-making facilities in the rooms. Breakfast in the hotel's Ici Cafe was classy and not over-expensive for what you get. So there are only three suggestions I could make for improvement: reduce the $18 per day valet parking charge; provide coffee-making facilities in rooms; and (difficult) build a swimming pool so that guests can cool down after all the walking around the sights on a hot day.
