I chose the hotel based on it's location. My partner's parents came with us and his mother was celebrating her 81st birthday. The hotel certainly was the right choice from this point of view.
It was over 30°C (HOT!) when we arrived and unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work in the first room we were given. The receptionist treated me like an idiot that didn't know how to operate such a modern device. It was only after the restaurant manager came to the room and agreed that we would be better off sleeping in the corridor, that the offer was made to change rooms. I shudder to think of what would have happened had another room not been available.
The second room was very large and comfortable and had a great bathrrom.
The hotel has excellent security: the room key card is required to access your floor and security cameras everywhere.

Breakfast was average.
The hotel has been open less than a year and the receptionist had been there less than 1 week. It will be a great hotel if they can get their act together.
