We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. It is almost impossible to find a fault. Some of the reviews I had read before our visit said the staff were surley,well they must have all been on happy pills for our visit as they all smiled and were always very helpful. The complete bed linen ,towels etc were changed EVERY day.When we arrived there was a small fault with the spa bath I reported it the reception and before I had returned to the room the Engineer was there !! Finally the Breakfast ,we have never stayed in a hotel which had such a vast amount of choice it has to be seen to be believed, we had some other meals in the hotel the quality was good the service excellent and the price when converted to euro about half what you would pay in a similar hotel in Ireland and better quality. It was our first visit to Prague and the hotel helped make it unforgetable. We will return ,room 357 awaits us !!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Zlata Husa in September, 2007. The location was fantastic - at one end of Wenceslas Square, so we were able to walk everywhere. The rooms were decorated nicely and the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom even had a jacuzzi, which was a nice surprise. The staff were friendly and the complimentary breakfast was nice.

The only drawback we experienced were the thin walls. One night, guests staying a few rooms down the hall came back late after having a lot of drinks and felt like singing and laughing in their room - which we heard very loudly and kept us from sleeping. They eventually quieted down.

Overall, a great location and an attractive hotel. We would recommend it!

If you ever have to stay in this hotel don't let anything with a bit of value in your room, there are theft in the staff and they are protected by the hotel manager. And if you can avoid this hotel, it's better for you!
I had a business suit stolen in my room, obviously by an indelicate staff member. Handling of the issue by the reception staff and manager was a huge failure, with very little concern, and definitely not the way that you can expect in a 5-star hotel.

this hotel is extremely comfortable and is in great location, being in Wenceslas Square but at the edge of the prettier Old Town.
Room was spacious and jacuzzi bath very welcome after walking the cobblestones.
We were able to secure a three nights for the price of two deal which made it very good value
