We loved Lurline House! We stayed in a variety of accommodations on our 2 1/2 week trip, from B&B's to luxury chain hotels. Lurline house was at the top in terms of comfort and certainly attention to detail. These are true hospitality professionals running this place! Lurline House is comfortable with a high degree of service without it feeling overbearing or intrusive. The location is excellent; walking distance from both the town center and local sights. DO NOT OVERLOOK Lurline House. It is easy to drive by and miss it, nothing too catchy from the street, but drive around and park in back and you're in a private special haven. I recommend Lurline House to anyone, without hesitation!

this is the place to make u feel right at home and with the wonderful couple tending the house, they make u feel privileged yet at ease with them right from the moment they pick you up at the train station. The short stay at blue mountain was so wonderful and memorable because of the attention paid to details by the owners - fancy being served tea, coffee, muffins and even port on ur arrival, a collection of dvds to choose from and then sent to your room, the sweets carefully placed on the pillows when u return and of cos the delicious cooked breakfast. If impeccably neat rooms and a homely stay is what u are looking for, you have definitely found ur treasure!

I stayed at Lurline on Boxing Day last year with my husband having found the b&b through wotif. We turned up not knowing quite what to expect, however I absoloutely agree with all the comments previously posted.
The couple who run the place are lovely and friendly and give you just the right amount of privacy whilst ensuring you have everything you need. The room we had was comfy, clean and charming, and the spa bath was great. The breakfast was fantastic - cooked to order just as you like it. The location was perfect for popping down to the three sisters and visiting scenic world. I recommended it to friends who also stayed recently, and they too couldnt rate it highly enough.

This place is gorgeous. Beautiful rooms with great details, very comfortable and unique. Brilliant location, just a short walk from everything you need in Katoomba. The owners are very kind, thoughtful and friendly. We just loved it at Lurline House and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of spending some time in Katoomba. So cheap too. Oh yes and amazing home cooked breakfasts. I want to go back!!
