Casa Nina is an exceptional find! The place is well designed and well kept. It is as close(60 seconds walk) to the beach as possible, and the tropical garden around the pool is wonderful. I looked at several other hotels in the area, and found this one to be by far the best value for the money. The rooms are clean, although I would try for one on the south or east side of the garden, as they are further away from the road traffic. The breakfast is included, and excellent. The owners are Italian, are very helpful, and speak a number of languages including French and English. The beach is beautiful, and safe for swimming. I would return in a heartbeat, and recommend Casa Nina to anybody. Enjoy!

"As close as it gets to paradise" is the quicker way to describe how was my holiday in Las Terrenas. It's a fantastic location in the Samana peninsula about 200km from the capital Santo Domingo. Ok, the place it's great for itself, but my vacation couldn't be as good if the hotel were I was staying, was great too!
I must say I was totally satisfy & surprise with the hospitality of Casa Nina & their hostes. I say satisfy because it's a quite little hotel that makes you feel kind of "home" for his privacy & cosyness, surrounded by the green of the trees & colourfull flowers...hey let's not forget that there are a barely 20 meters to walk from the reception to dipping your feet in the fantastic caribbean sea!!!
I say that I was "surprise" with the hostess, because from my experience, often hostes can be rude, and careless to make a good impression on tourists, since there is plenty of them...but not here! As I said I really feel like home there!
And I think the only language that the owner couldn't speak was the Mandarin! Like me most clients, I ended up staying much longer in Casa Nina then expected for all this reasons and others.

I went to Dominican Republic for 1 month and decided to stay in Las Terrenas in the peninsula of Samana for a dream holiday. I opted for Casa Nina.

The hotel is ideally located in front of the beach, not too far from the centre. I received a warm welcome at Casa Nina. They speak different languages and the staff is particularly accommodating. I appreciated the quality of bungalows, typically Dominican, clean, spacious and convenient. The morning, you will receive your breakfast at the terrace next to the swimming pool. What's a pleasure to drink every morning my natural fruit juice! (Banana, passion fruit,...). I must also mention the breakfast was particularly copious.

There is a swimming pool however the beach is just at 15m from the hotel. There are kilometres of beautiful, deserted and lovely beaches where you will be R. Crusoe in action. You can easily find your ideal spot and sunbath all the day.

The evening, I usually enjoyed the sunset from the front terrace drinking my aperitif and socializing with guests and owners.

Bars, restaurants, shops and night-clubs are just down the street at 3 min by walk. I particularly enjoyed my Dominican nights, the atmosphere and not to have to walk long minutes before to be back home.

The staff helped me to organize my excursions and indicated me the “must-to-see”.

To conclude, Las Terrenas is definitely a piece of heaven in this world and Casa Nina the best place to stay.

What a magnificent week I passed with my daughter at the Hotel Casa Nina. We had an exceptionel service and people were really courteous. We were near all the necessary conveniences and the atmosphere was brilliant. The sea is incredible and the landscape is remarkable. You want to know if I will return to it? Of course, without any hesitances!!!
