I m just back from a marvellous holiday you know, that sort of things you ll never be able to forget. I m from Europe and I enjoyed the Dominican Republic when I first travelled there some years ago, so I fancied the idea of getting back once more. A lovely friend of mine (how could I call him less than lovely after his good advice?) suggested me to visit the peninsula of Samanà and he also addressed me to a small hotel called Kari Beach, located in the village of Las Terrenas, where he had spent some great time himself. I was in doubt about what to do, because on holiday I used to stay at huge hotels with plenty of people, restaurants, swimming-pools, night entertainments and so on, but he was so enthusiastic that he persuaded me. Now I m deeply grateful to him because I spent a thrilling week, feeling even better than at home. The Kari Beach Hotel is really worth staying at, believe me if I say I am the kind of person who does want the most out of a hotel. The clean and comfortable rooms, which are located in a lush tropical garden, overlook the sandy palmful beach and the multicolour sea. And of course the hotel is right on the beach! In the recently-renovated restaurant you can taste the excellent cuisine out of a wide choice of dishes, ranging from appetizers to noodles and rice, then seafood, fish or meat, to end up with delicious sweets and cakes, all together with good wine. The service is good as well and the whole staff is ready to help you with everything you wish. And all of this is at reasonable rates. Moreover, with its four-thousand inhabitants the village of Las Terrenas can offer lots of facilities, and is the right place where you can share your time with both tourists and local people. To sum up, a heavenly experience indeed! Grace
