The hotel was self rated at 5 star. In our opinion it would only deserve a 3 star rating. There was no in house restaurant and no breakfast available. Whilst the hotel was new and did have some good features which included free secure parking, very close proximity to the shops and cafes this was overridden by a number of negatives. The air conditioning was far too hot and could not be turned down. The outlook was advertised as looking to the harbour but in our room it was over shabby tin roofs before you saw the distant harbour. The advertised deck was so small that it would only take one person. We felt that we could not spend any time in this hotel to relax. The staff were helpful and did try to address the air conditioning but it was beyond their control.

This is a great hotel, with resonable sized rooms fitted with a modern decoy.

Located in the CBD of Tauranga its centrally located to shopping, resturants and all the other facilities you would expect.

The only downside to this hotel is there is no in-house resturant however to counter this they have formed relationships with several neighbouring hotels which will deliver directly to your room at no additional charge.
