We stayed at the reef B n B for four nights. The room was clean and spacious and Ivan cooked a mean breakfast, was a great host and a useful source of local info. The setting was beautiful and peaceful and it was great to have the pool to use. Which we shared with the rather fabulous family dogs Max n AJ. If you want to get around you will need to hire a car, as it gets a bit expensive taking taxi's all the time. If you want to chill and eat hearty breakfasts then this is the place for you.

My wife and I made the decision to elope and were looking for fitting place to get married. After reading all the great reviews on the Reef and Rainforest B & B and seeing the phots on their website, we contacted them about having our wedding and honeymoon there and it didn't disappoint! We stayed at the B & B for 7 nights and hosts Ivan and Lorina were extremely accomodating with all of our requests, recommending a celebrant, recommending a fantastic place for our wedding dinner and they even drove us to dinner! It was a truly wonderful experience and we thank Ivan and Lorina for their wonderful hospitality. The accomodation was everything we'd hoped for, the setting was very scenic backing onto the rainforest. And the home cooked breakfast daily was fantastic! Ivan was very helpful in recommending things to do and was happy to organise our day trip up to Kuranda on the Sky Rail. Would go back there in a heartbeat.

We came across the Cairns Reef 'nRainforest B & B while planning our honeymoon. we didn't want to say in a hotel when traveling so far from home.

Both myself & my husband love the bed and breakfast idea. It has all the comforts of home, at a reasonable price. Ivan & Lorina where outstanding host's. The Ulsyes room was just perfect, right out our door was the water fall, and all the sounds , sights & smells of the rainforest. Is was so peacful & relaxing.

Ivan, set us up on 2 tours that where outstanding. My husband & my self will be back, and recomend this Beautiful Bed & Breakfast to anyone traveling to Australia.

We had the most wonderful experience at The Cairns Reef n' Rainforest B&B. To start with, the setting is gorgeous. Every morning, as we ate our delicious breakfast on the terrace, we looked out onto the beautiful waterfall and rainforest. But as stunning as the setting was, it was the service that really made our stay. Ivan and Lorena were so friendly and interesting to talk to, and both went out of their way to make sure that we had everthing we could wish for - from excellent advice on tours and places to eat - to allowing us to use their personal computer when we desperately need to print some documents. The defining moment came when we decided to walk from the B & B to a local mall and got caught in a rain storm. The next thing we knew, Ivan came driving up behind us to pick us up and take us to our destination, so that we didn't get wet. By the time we left, it felt like we were staying with old friends. We are recommending this B&B to everyone we know.
