I have stayed at Crowne Plaza for around 32 nights the past 6 month, and it seems the service it getting worse each time I´m around.
I don´t know if the staff eventually consider me as a part of the inventory of the hotel, but its really hard to get any good service - I have ex. stopped eating at their resturant, as the service is really slow.
Maybe is the staff not enjoying their work, but there is no reason to let their guest get that feeling...depressing..
Perhaps I´m too young to stay at this hotel (due to the patience)..

On the positive side: great rooms, fair priority club meeting, good location and a FRIENDLY consierge service !

Very nice stay, booked four days late Jan 08 on wotif great weekend rate, hotel very clean modern rooms, close to most types of shops, five min walk to station or ferry terminal
Its a quite position away from the main street
Staff very helpful receptionist was fantastic helped us with any inquiries as ts firts time in Aus
Gave it 5/5 because thats what it was to us

Great hotel, comfortable beds, large rooms even with 2 kids in the room, good location.

We enjoyed our five night stay at the Crown Plaza Parramatta. The concierge and desk staff were very helpful with maps and schedules of regional transportation. The room and facilities were very clean and our room was well taken care of during our stay. The hotel is located near the main cafe street - a big selection of restaurants. The hotel breakfast was worth the price - very extensive buffet.

The train station is a bit of a walk from the hotel but the rail service from Sydney to Parramatta was very good and easy to navigate once you get to the station. The hotel is a short walk -- about 7 minutes to the ferry service. A nice excursion was taking the River Cat to Sydney harbor.
