We found this hotel very clean and the location well situated for walking to all the major attractions in Sydney (Opera House, bridge, the Rocks, botanic gardens). Although Kings Cross may not have the best reputation, we felt quite safe and our room was very quiet. The breakfasts are good and the owner, George, goes out of his way to be helpful. We got the last room available, #7, which is a standard double and rather small for two people. However, I did see some of other rooms which were a much more comfortable size. The price of all the rooms is very reasonnable.

Really enjoyed my 4 day stay here. Very handy location-about a 5 minute walk away from the Tube.

The owner was really friendly and cooks a lovely breakfast!! You can choose what you want in their cafe underneath the hotel.

Would def recommend to friends and would stay there again next time I visit Sydney.

Felt safe here as a lone traveller-more than I did in the other hotel I stayed in during my stay in Sydney (O'Malleys)

We were pleasantly surpised to find such a comfortable hotel in the heart of Sydney at very reasonable rates.
The room was basic but very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We especially loved the shower!!!
There was a full choice of breakfasts in the little cafe downstairs.
George was extremely helpful with advice on bus routes etc.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return at some future date.

For the price, $100 AUD, this hotel was terrific. It was an interesting location and just 2 blocks from the subway station. George makes a nice breakfast and there are 2 laundromats nearby, once next door and one across the street. We also found it far enough away from the partiers to be quiet.
