Stayed at the Grace for five nights in late March. The hotel was beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful large room with great bathroom. The most comfortable plush bed I have ever slept on. In fact, I booked this hotel because of the bed comments I read on Trip Advisor. Having traveled 12 hours over 8 time zones to get there, I was in need of a comfortable bed. Hotel is located near everything. Also has a nice health club on the top floor including good sized gym, sauna, steam, pool and sun deck. Highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the Grace over New Year 2007/8. The hotel is in a good location for most things Sydney. About half way between Darling Harbour and The Opera house. Easy walking distance. Rooms were basic but ok, breakfast good and a very popular and good Irish bar linked to the hotel

We stayed at the Grace at the beginning of Feb. for 4 nights. Check in went smoothly, concierge was helpful, bed was comfy, but the room was not laid out well. There was a couch and a chair in a little sitting area, however you couldn't see the TV from there, so we ended up using it to put luggage and clothes on.
The breakfast was OK, nothing special and the coffee was not good. The hotel was a pretty good hike from the Rocks and main harbor area, and after a day or evening out in that area, we wished the hotel was closer than a long walk back or a cab ride.

We did enjoy shopping in the nearby Queen Victoria Bldg. There also were some good restaurants not too far from the hotel that we dined at in the evening.

I stayed at The Grace for 4 nights at the begining of March 08.
After spending hours reading reviews here, I'm pleased with my choice.

The location is perfect, although Sydney is such an easy city to navigate, but the hotels proximity to all the major tourist attractions is a bonus.

I was in town on Business and arrived at the hotel at 7am, on the Saturday of the mardi gras, and was unable to check in any earlier than the advertised time of 2pm(it was a busy weekend I suppose) so I went for a stroll around the city and came back at 2ish to check in.

My room was a nice size, the bathroom was ok, pretty standard, not what you woudl expect from a 4 star hotel.

I had dinner in my room one night, which was really nice, good portions and well presented...however the guy that brought it to my room was really strange and didn't say a word, just stood there very nervously while I signed the receipt - very odd!

I'd probable stay here again as it was resonably priced and in a good location, however last tiem I was in town I stayed at the Establishment, which was amazing, so I'll always check there first to see if I can get a good deal..other wise it'll be the Grace.
