“Good location”

The room was lovely - bathroom was great - large separate bath, walk in shower. The hotel's buffet breakfast is a shocker. Coffee is awful and staff aren't generous with refills. The cafe over the road on the corner was the best place for an easy meal. The beds are extremely hard - but I suspect that suits the Asian market who seem to like their beds to be firm? Pool is an indoor lap pool on the 1st floor. On the whole, I'd probably not stay there again as there are other places to try next time. It wasn't good enough to want to use it regularly.

“Fabulous”

Radisson Plaza Hotel Sydney

It was our first trip to Sydney and based on reviews on Trip Advisor, the Radisson Plaza was an easy choice. Very nice front reception desk, upgraded us to a corner room, very nice views of the CBD. Beds were extremely comfortable, bathrooms were nicely appointed and classic. No noise from surrounding rooms - a plus! The CBD was very hip and happening during the week, on the weekend, a little quieter but a nice change of pace. Very easy walk to Wynyard station - great public transportation on the train system! The Rocks and Circular Quay are also less than 5 minutes away. Amazing. We loved the Radisson so much we booked to return for our final weekend in Sydney there as well. Highly recommended. Only one drawback, the concierge was a bit snooty. One final addition, their Bistro Fax was a nice place to have a relaxed dinner. Good Mod Oz cuisine and nice waitstaff.

Having read good trip adviser reviews I booked an Atrium room package on the hotel's own website. Disappointed with room, old fashioned TV with poor reception in a dark wooden noisy cabinet, all other hotels of this rating I've stayed at in Sydney at least had a plasma or LCD. View of an alleyway, not what I expected. Nice bathroom, comfy beds. Breakfast room downstairs seemed like you were eating in a cellar. Good location though, easy walk to Rocks and shopping. Would I stay again, probably not, I'd pick a hotel at The Rocks - with a decent view!

We had 4 nights in a Plaza club room and enjoyed every minute. The room was more than adequate with a good bathroom.
What really made the stay was the Plaza Club.We upgraded on arrival and were very well looked after.I don't eat meat and one night it was mostly meat canapes so the person in charge of the Club telephoned the chef and had some food especially sent up to the Club for me.Excellent service. We would certainly return

“Excellent Location and Excellent Room”

Booked this hotel through Trailfinders after reading the good reviews on Trip Advisor.

Was very impressed with the location, being only a short walk to Circular Quay, The Opera House and The Harbour Bridge.

We wallked most nights to Darling Harbour which we found better than Circular Quay and The Rocks. It was a little bit further but the weather was nice so we didnt mind.

Staff were very helpful and the room service was excellent for ordering food and for making your room every day.

The Rooms were modern, very clean and very comfortable giving that home from home feeling.

We stayed on the top floor and had a balcony where the sun came shining through the room at around 4pm each day which was nice.

Make sure you go across the road on a Friday to the Square. It is very busy and the atmosphere is brilliant where Sydney office people start their weekend.

In the same square the tall building contains one of Sydney's best restaurants. THE SUMMIT ! You will need to book though as it is always booked up on weekends. Its a 360 degree revolving restaurant and the food and views all accross Sydney are excellent.

I would recommend the Raddison to everyone.
