We had a short break in this hotel booked at short notice, so our expectations weren't that high. We were very impressed, however, especially as we got a really good deal.
The hotel is in a good position with views from nearly every room. Our room was small but adequate. We had no bathtub, just a small shower but otherwise everything we needed was there. The beds were good and firm; so often you get too-soft beds in hotels.
The meals were good quality and the staff were particularly helpful. The entertainment was low key but quite pleasant and the mostly middle aged guests didn't create any late night noise.
The walk into Limone was ok, but might not suit if you were elderly or disabled. The courtesy bus was a bit unreliable and only sat 8.

My husband and I celebrated our pearl anniversary here in July.We had a wonderful time.The hotel location was excellent,as was the quality of food we had.The food was plentiful and there was an excellent selection-the wine was'on tap' during the evening meal and was very 'drinkable'!The hotel staff were very amiable and went out of their way to help.The entertainment in the hotel during the evening was varied-we thought the Brazilian dancers were poor!The hotel is within walking distance of the town,but it can be very warm on the return journey.We felt the hotel bus should have run more frequently.Overall we would recommend this hotel and will look forward to returning.Limone is a beautiful area on Lake Garda....not too busy!

We had a nice view of the lake but the room was last decorated in the 60's. When we asked for a different room they said that all rooms were the same (which we knew to be a lie after talking to other guests) The staff were rude and the manager a sleaze bag who tried on the "no understand" when we complained. Booked as a package holiday so unfrotunately had paid up front... never again

Myself and my boyfriend have just returned from two weeks in Italy. Second week we stayed in Hotel Panorama and I have to say the views were unbelievable, the pool was lovely, the rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, the food was nice...however I did not have a good sleep all week, between the guest in the bedroom next door constantly snoring and and the other guest talking very loudly and waking me up constantly, all i can say is that if you are a light sleeper you will have problems sleeping as the bedroom walls seem to be made out of paper.......
however it was a very enjoyable week and it is such a beautiful location so I would recommend this destination. I hope to return there in the future....
