My wife and I stayed at the Mimose 4th-11th August 2005.

The staff could not do enough for us.

Hotel was great. Room was fine. Excellent 4 course meal each evening.

Loved lazing by the tree encircled swimming pool. Pool was never packed with people.

Hotel 2 min walk from all shops, bars and the Lake itself.

We felt this was our best holiday ever.

We booked this hotel with Page & Moy and were not disappointed. Ok, it may be a basic and functional, but we didnt stay in the hotel all day. The staff are very friendly and will do anything to assist. We found that the location was excellent and was an easy walk to and from Limone centre. We have to say thay that the food was brilliant. Four courses, fresh salad, a pasta dish, a meat dish followed by dessert.
We have visited Italy on many occasions. This hotel is a typical 3 star hotel. What it may lack in its decor or modern amenities, it most certainly makes up for in its character and charm.

I stayed at this Hotel in June 2005. Chosen carefully as Limone is very hilly resort this Hotel is quite close to the lakeside along the ''Lungomare''. A superb position with spectacular views the really friendly and helpful small Staff do their best to keep guests happy in this run down faded and jaded Hotel. Stuck in the '70s the furniture and decor and general standard of the rooms - the place needs a complete refit.
The MAJOR MAJOR problem is that there is no air conditioning anywhere in the Hotel let alone in the rooms! With temperatures in the top 30s - 40 this place is uncomfortable. Reception does hire out fans for 2 euros a day but doesn't have enough for all rooms! The food can only be described as basic.
What a pity - superb location in a lovely town right on the shore.
