“The 19th Lodge Couldn't Be Better”

The 19th Lodge

Aug 11, 2008

I have stayed twice at the 19th Lodge while playing golf at Ballybunion and other nearby courses. The Inn is located right next to Ballybunion Golf Club and is perfect for golfers. James and Mary run a very hospitable inn that is very comfortable and very clean. The water pressure in the shower just blows you away after a challenging round of golf. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this to any friends.

“Great hospitality and loved James and Mary”

The 19th Lodge

Aug 10, 2008

Wonderful stay for 2 nights. Great hospitality-James and Mary made us feel like their best friends who had come to visit. We were celebrating a birthday in our group and they were so kind to provide us with a cake and coffee and tea after our dinner out. Internet was provided and breakfast each morning was great. Would go back in a heartbeat!!!!!! John and Carol Halliday

“Loved the 19th Lodge in Ballybunion most of all”

The 19th Lodge

Aug 5, 2008

Review from Gertraud, Austria.
We have just returned from a stay at the 19th Lodge. The 19th Lodge is a Golfers’ Paradise but not only. Everybody will feel like in heaven there. We have never experienced such wonderful guesthouse before. The service by the owners James and Mary Beasly was so attentive, personal and warm. Breakfast was really delicious, with a broad variety of breakfast menus. Rooms are outstanding, lxuriously furnished with fabulous view on the world famous Ballybunion Golf Courses. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away and finally we did stay 2 days longer than planned. We played golf on the magnificient Ballybunnion Golf Courses which turned out to be a highlight in our golfing life. We also walked the gorgous beach front every day. If we return to Ireland, it will be again to this wonderful unforgettable place.

“Ireland's Hidden Jewel-----but not for long”

The 19th Lodge

Aug 4, 2008

I recently stayed at the The 19th Lodge on a trip to Ireland. During this 11 day trip I stayed at the Butler Arms Hotel in Waterville and also the Portmarnock Hotel in Dublin, IR., neither of these two VERY fine establishments came close to the experience of staying at the 19th Lodge. If anyone goes to Ireland and plans on visiting this geographical area in Ireland and does not choose to stay here, they have wasted their trip to Ireland and missed out on what the Irish hospitality is all about.

“Unbelievable experience”

The 19th Lodge

Our party of 12 arrived at the lodge at the end of our ten day stay in Ireland. We stayed at two other hotels on our stay and the 19th was, by far, the best experience I had in Ireland. Mrs. Mary cooks a mean French Toast and Mr. James does a mean double Baileys. I would highly recommed their service to anyone coming to Ballybunion. They are warm, friendly people and you will not be disappointed. I will be back as soon as possible.
