My girlfriend and I arrived in Dingle with no reservations and quickly found Heaton's Guesthouse for a 2-night stay. The owner's were very friendly and accomodating. We were given the choice of two bedrooms, one with water (and parking lot) view or another on the upper level and garden view. Both rooms were furnished nicely but we chose the garden view. The King-size bed was in reality two full mattresses pushed together, which makes for an awkward seam/gap in the middle of the bed. The TV got 3 channels in total, which isn't a big deal, as we werent there to watch TV. The bathroom was very nice, with a great shower and tub. Breakfast was served each morning with a buffet of breads/fruit/cheeses as well as an option to order a cooked meal. We had delicious fruit pancakes.
The location of the guesthouse is great, as it is far enough away from town to be very quiet, but close enough to walk into Dingle to visit the pubs at night (about a 5 min walk). They have a laptop with wireless internet access that guests can use free of charge, which was a nice bonus for us.
Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed Heaton's guesthouse.
