Rooms: spacious, well decorated, plenty of storage, clean, comfortable, nice bathroom, quiet and a nice balcony (unless you go for the cheapest option I believe).
Hotel: small (in a good way), charming, nice bar area, 2 nice swimming pools, plenty of sun loungers, nice breakfast, bar snacks.
Hotel Staff: the friendliest, most helpful staff I've ever met - from the reception staff to the hotel owners to the maid service.
Location: On a quiet residential side road off the main road around the lake. About a 15 minute walk to Bardolino - you cross over the main road which is fine then walk along a bit, then down a pathway to the shores of the lake (so far takes 2 minutes) then the rest of the walk is along the shores ofthe lake and it is so pleasant - the location is fine UNLESS you are not mobile in which case you might want to stay closer to the town centre.
Bardolino: A lovely town - we visited many towns around the lake and this is our favourite. Plenty of bars and restaurants to sit outside and watch the world go by. My husband and I are in our late twenties/early thirties and we don't want clubs etc. and we were very content. The food and drink in the town were wonderful and the icecream is the best.
The hotel staff can give you recommendations on where to go, where to eat, what to do and see.
