We are just back from staying here. The hotel is very nice, but unfortunately was under going slight renovation during our stay.

Its location is great. The area is an arty student area with great bars and restaurants.

Would well recommend.

My wife and I have just returned from six very enjoyable nights in Vienna staying at the K+K Hotel Maria Theresia. We chose this hotel solely on the reviews on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. The location, less that 3 minutes walk from the Volkstheatre U-Bahn station, with its direct link to Wien Central station where the CAT airport train terminates, makes for a very easy transfer. Located on a quiet side street there is no traffic noise. Our bedroom on the 2nd floor was facing away from the road and so was very quiet.

The location of the hotel is great – the Hofburg and the centre of the city are minutes away by foot, and with the Volkstheatre U-Bahn being just round the corner travel to other parts of the city is so easy. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

Much has already been said about the breakfast so I won’t repeat it here other than to say that it’s all true.

There are several restaurants close by and I would recommend Gasthaus Witwe Bolte, 1 minutes walk at most in the next street. Traditional quality Viennese food at a good price.

Problems finding the hotel thanks to the complcated exit system from the U-bahn but check in was very fast & efficient with multi lingual staff.
Other reviewers have complained about the size of the rooms but ours was more than adequate with a large bed & a flat screen TV with at least 3 English Language chanels.
Breakfast was very good with sparkling wine for those who wanted it & staff on had to refill your coffee pot or show you where items were.
Ideal location to explore the Museums district or to hop on a train to get to Schonbrun.
There is some garage parking available for about €16 per day & it's worth it if you are having a rental car dropped off as parking is at a premium in this area.
Extreemly friendly & efficient staff who were always on hand to assist you with any query you might have.
Great base to explore the city with plenty of shops & restaurans close by.

Spent 3 nights at The K&K Maria Theresia, which is an ideally placed hotel within good walking distance to the main Vienna Sites, plus having the benefit in being in a quiet side-street.
The hotel is very clean and the service very good, especially from the reception staff who were very helpful and went out of their way to recommend directions etc.
The breakfast was very hearty with a good choice and is also served until 11am which means you can have a relaxing lie-in if you wish.
All in all an excellent place to stay
