We were there in january and I must say that it is a really good place to stay. The garden is wonderfull, quiet to sit and lay, with the music of the birds. Our room was very big (it had 3 beds). The breakfast is good (even for who`s in a diet...cereals, yogurts). In the beginning my husband was interested to rent a car (service that they help you too) but why??if we had everything near us, supermarket, trains, restaurants (fish plates are terrific) and the best of all....5 minutes by foot you will find, the lovely sea of cascais...a place that I will visit again!!

I staied in November with my family...It is situated in a very quiet place (no noise at all). The breakfast is very good (several choises)....My room was nr 2, very large, very clean and nice (with a private door to the garden). I recomend this wonderfull house, to all familys

while I was visiting portugal someone adviced me about solar dom carlos in cascais.Me and my husband went there..............the ladie was so nice and friendly in that second we accepted. The room had a out way to the garden...........where we decided to rest all our afternoons in the company of the terrific wines they sell there (my advice...try the green wine)....every day when we returned to the room, over the bed the lady have done some ducks with the towells and flowers we took and took pictures of that!!!The breakfast room takes you to the royal times with all the genuine wall paintings its an art!!!! Juice, coffee, tea, toasts, cereals, fruits, cheese, ham...you need a big apetite to decide what to eat :-) it was I wonderfull stay there...........I remember every day.....while I review the photos.we will return again!!!!
