We stayed here for 7 nights in June. The hotel was really cheap plus we were given a 10% discount. For the price I really can't complain too much; the hotel was in a great location in the old town of Lagos, a maze of narrow cobbled streets packed with shops and restaurants stretching from the coastline up the hill. It is lovely to walk meander around the streets but be aware it is initially quite terrifying to drive in, the steep streets accomodate one car only and there is a complex and confusing one way system so getting to the hotel is a challenge. I'd take a good detailed map of the old town showing the one way system before you go. The hotel itself has adequate public areas; reception, breakfast room (in the basement) etc, the rooms were a bit disappointing with a lurid bathroom suite and tiles marked with mould. The assessment of the breakfast by other reviewers is quite true (basic with fresh bread rolls, jam, limited drinks) however there are two fridges in the breakfast room and it seems to be the done thing to bring your own food in from outside (there is a supermarket just down some steps outside the hotel) so you can supplement it if you want. This hotel is in a good location and I'd recommend it for anyone on a budget but don't expect a gleaming white bathroom suite or a fabulous breakfast!
