Hotel was very friendly, loved the wellness centre after a day on the slopes. Could do a lot more with the interior design and athmosphere of the bar/dineing area.....Fire was only lit once during our 5 day stay...Room was nice but very small for a family of 3, had we been offered a suite or known thaat suites were available we would have preferred the extra space.

Stayed in Metropol in mid jun for 3 nights, simply one of the best 3 nights i had. I stayed in a junior suite with 2 other of my mates and simply loved our room. It has got a great view of the matterhorn from the balcony and the room and bathroom were very spacious. Beds were comfortable and the staff were very helpful. (I checked out the double room which looked great to but settled for the suite as it was more spacious) The hotel has got heaps of facilities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna...etc). The breakfast room also overlooks the matterhorn when you're enjoying your meal. I cannot help but really recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to have a good time in zermatt!
