We visited the farm house for 3 days during our one week of Italy trip. We were in Italy for our second wedding anniversary. We had a really great time .It was a wonderful place in a magical location.

Coming from south india, and having seen the agricultural side of south india, we absolutely loved the scenic surroundings and the location of the farm house - top of the hill with the views of the rolling hills and vineyards- absolutely gorgeous. Our room had the best view of sangimignano from the bed. Stefano has done a great job in renovating the 100 year old farm house. We were reminded of our farm house stay in India. It meant a lot to us - the place made us feel at home , though we were half world away from our families in India and our home in the US.

Stefano made our stay absolutely wonderful. We did not get a chance to have breakfast at his place on all days, but would love to have fruits and eggs as options.We would highly recommend this place to anyone and will surely spread the word. Its perfect location about 1-2 hour from pisa, 1-2 hour from florence, 1-2 hours from siena, helped us do day trips to these places. It was a memorable vacation in a ideal setting!! Stefano made perfect suggestions about the restaurants in sangimignano - we had awesome food, being vegetarians with limited choices usually.He also suggested a visit to impruneta near florence for terracota - we arrived at impruneta litlle late but perfect place for an evening sunset view...

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this peaceful, clean, and comfortable agriturismo! Stefano and his family made us feel at home during the delicious breakfast and were helpful as we plotted our travels.

Agriturismo Poggiacolle is centrally located to Sienna and Florence. After a beautiful day of touring Tuscany, this is the villa to call home!

My husband and I and our son just returned from Poggiacolle where we spent eight nights. Before we even left the farmhouse, we were talking about when we would return. The place is more beautiful than any of the pictures we saw on the Web. It was so relaxing. Our Rosa apartment was spacious and comfortable. The owner Stefano is a true gentleman and was very helpful no matter what we asked about. We also loved the proximity to interesting places in Tuscany, especially San Gimignano which is a jewel. We could have spent another four or five days just exploring "San G." If you are looking for a laid back, gorgeous and self-sufficient atmosphere, this is the place. Everything we have to say is positive.

We had a wonderful family vacation in Poggiacolle in August 2007. We reserved the apartment "Girasole" with 4 bedrooms and a 5th bedroom downstairs. The apartment was perfect for my family, and my brothers young family. Grandad appreciated the relative calm downstairs. We had many wonderful meals at picnic tables at different locations in the gounds of the farm. The 3 kids, all under 3 yrs old loved exploring in the grounds, including a small forest at the end of the garden!
The location was great - central for exploring Tuscany. We alternated sightseeing with days spent relaxing on the farm. The pool is the best private pool we have experienced, and the view from the pool was inspirational.
Stefano and his family made this experience very special. They were able to advise on activities, restaurants etc. One of the highlights of the trip was an Itailan cooking class with Stafano's parents.
Another highlight was the 8km evening run from the farm to San Gimignano, around the city walls and back to the farm. This must be one of the top ten runs in the world!
