We stayed at the Hotel Francesco for 2 nights. Me and my friend went to Pisa by train from Switzerland and took a bus from the train station to the hotel, it was very easy. The staff was very helpfull and we didnt speak italian, but they spoke english and german which helped a lot. They gave us some good tips about nice restaurants near by and what to see in town.
The hotel was small but very nice and clean. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and very clean also. Breakfast was good and only 5 euros per person. The location was very good, only steps from the tower and surounded by nice restaurants and ice cream shops.

we stayed at Hotel francesco in July 2006,we were very impressed with the hotel, we had a fantastic welcome by the hotel staff, they were very helpful with restaurants and on where to go in and around Pisa.
Our room was just perfect with a lovely view of the botanical gardens, nice and clean and very quiet.
We also had a substantial breakfast on the wonderful terrace.
We would highly reccomend this hotel and will definately return in the future

I will awrite little because my english is not good.The location was exelent, very near the Tower of Pisa, many restaurants near and the hotel was clean and comfortable.

This Hotel was a great little find. It is on a lovely street and is literally a 2 minute walk from the Tower. The Hotel is very clean and the rooms were lovely. The Breakfast is Five Euro a head but they have a lovely outdoor terrace at the back where you can eat while looking at the Tower in the background! They also have free internet access in the Hotel beside the Breakfast Room. Very handy! There are quite a few Restaurants on the Street and also a pretty good one beside the Hotel, which I would recommend. Pisa is great for a night, but having said that there isn't that much to see and you would do it in an afternoon. But everything you need to see is on practically on the doorstep of this Hotel!
