My husband and I walked about six miles a day in Florence, seeing all there was to see in two and a half days. At night we were exhausted,, and needed a good night of sleep. The walls were paper thin, and we were woken up late at night every night we stayed there with people coming in. It wasn't abnormal noise, just our neighbors talking at a normal volume and laughing, heels clicking in the hall. Everything seemed to have the volume turned up to max because the walls were so thin, and I can sleep though Armageddon. The breakfast was decent, and the staff was helpful. The location seemed a little run down, with the street called Hotel Ave., or something like that. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but we'd pay 15 Euro more a night to stay in a much better hotel in a better area of town if we could do it over.
