Its hard to decide what to describe first about Casa Bella Vista. One could talk at length about the views across the wheat fields of Tuscany, the sights of the towns of Cortona or Montepulciano in the distance, the high standard of accomodation, the massive 2 metre long by 2 metre wide beds, the filling breakfasts or delicious dinner that could be had , the wonderful hospitality of Simonetta or relaxing in front of a blazing log fire after a full day's exploration.

Anyway, these points should paint a good picture.

Casa Bella Vista has only 3 rooms so it can feel like a home away from home if you are the only guests at the time you are staying (which we were) or it can be a great choice if there are 2 or 3 couples travelling together.

It is a little bit difficult to find at first, as it is out on its own, so carefully follow Simonetta's directions, but once you get to know the lay of the land it is well positioned as a base for exploring the region.

There is so much to see and do in this area, that we most definitely will come back and unhesitatingly would stay here again.

I stayed at this B&B twice in the last 2 months and each time it has been an absolute pleasure.

Simonetta has made a beautiful home filled with antiques, with lovely views over the Tuscan countryside. She is a wonderful hostess, makes you feel totally at ease and nothing is too much trouble. The location is great, with easy access to lots of interesting places. The room was spotless and pretty.

If you want, she will cook you an evening meal, an experience I can highly recommend. We were given 4 courses of local Tuscan specialities, with salad grown in her garden by her family, and it was delicious. There was far more food than we could eat, and had we room there would have been another course!

I'm going to stay there again and I will get my booking in early!

Just returned from a fantastic winter trip to Tuscany where we (family of 5) were welcomed with open arms by Simonetta at Casa Bellavista. She is the most friendly and helpful hostess! We were so pleased with this beautifully decorated B&B. The warmth of the fireplace during the winter nights was so inviting as well as the delicious buffet breakfast each morning. Simonetta prepared a fantastic New Year's meal for my entire family and graciously invited us to celebrate the New Year with a champagne toast on the balcony with her lovely family. We look forward to buying the cookbook that Simonetta hopes to publish in the near future. We will definitely reserve a spot in the spring or summer to visit this phenonmenal B&B and look forward to seeing Simonetta and her family again! This one is a gem!

Casa Bellavista was a wonderful escape from the busy hotels in other cities on our recent Italian vacation. Simonetta, who runs the classy B&B, was incredibly helpful when it came to planning our time in Tuscany and navigating the roads between each of the towns. A bonus is the breakfast spread, and to avoid venturing out onto the windy roads at night, the home-cooked dinner was fabulous. If we return to Tuscany, we will most definitely be checking back in to Casa Bellavista.
