“Beautiful, Relaxing and better than expected!”

Absolutely gorgeous, brand new and a wonderful location for anyone traveling to Venice! We stayed here using our Hilton Honors points for 3 nights and thankfully we did because no room in Venice is cheap! Our room was tactfully done, comfortable and with all the amenities for a nice stay. They put us in Room 708 on the 7th floor. The hallways are very quiet and rooms appeared to be soundproof. Our window opened up to the hotel's courtyard which features several buildings that are connected as it was once a pasta factory. There was some trouble with the hotel's complimentary shuttle boats and waiting time was more than normal. However, once we learned that we could walk down the street 1 1/2 blocks the city's public water busses run every 10 minutes for about a euro (maybe less, I can't remember). Once we learned that trick we just came and went as we needed. The skyline bar at this hotel has an amazing view of Venice and we had a hard time breaking away after our cocktail to even go to dinner. There are only about 3 restaurants within walking of this hotel (2 cheap and 1 is the famous Harry"s Dolce which we tried and was fabulous!). The food at the hotel is rather expensive and we chose not to eat there. However, you will find that a jump on the free shuttle or city water bus will have you across the water in no time to all of Venice's wonderful restaurants. We loved this hotel, and after seeing many people schlepping their luggage down the alleys of Venice made us realize how we preferred being dropped off at our hotel "pier side". I would recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to go back.

“American Hotel in Venice”

Hilton Molino Stucky Venice

This Hotel is new and fresh compared to the old hotels in venice. No creeky floors and windox box air conditioners. If you like the big american way...this is it. Everything is expensive so bring your money. The taxi from the hilton to the airport is 100 euro....or you can lug your bags on two boats, spend double the time and pay alot less on a public boat. Enjoy Venice....it was fun!

“Beautiful hotel, not a great location”

This is a beautiful hotel with first class accomodations, but riding the shuttle can be inconvenient. My husband went back to the hotel to change in the afternoon and it took over an hour to get back to the main island using the shuttle. It might just have been an unusual circumstance, but there was another boat parked in the place where the shuttle docks, so they had to sit out in the water for 20 minutes. We loved the room and the property, but there really is nothing else on that part of the island. Staying on the main island would have been a better choice for us. The staff was a little cold too. As another review notes, we were told the cost for calls is 20 cents to access a line for an 800 number, but were charged much more on check out. When I complained, there was no offer to remove the charges. The staff was helpful in recommending a nearby restaurant, but there are much better ones on the main island.

“Nice, modern hotel - expensive, but accommodating”

Hilton Molino Stucky Venice

We stayed one night at the end of May prior to embarking our cruise around Italy. The Hilton Molino Stucky Venice was a perfect option as it was a mostly new, modern hotel that accepted our Hilton Honors points for redemption. And having read good things about this hotel on this site, I felt confident that my "American" husband would feel right at home!

A couple of brief observations:
*The Hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated.
*The rooms are a good size (for American standards) and have good working "western" bathrooms.
*The Rooftop Bar is amazing and has incredible views of Venice.
*The food is expensive in the hotel.
*The hotel management is accommodating and willing to work with you if you have a special request.

I had read previously on this site that the food in the hotel is very expensive... and it is... 30 Euros for the breakfast buffet. As a pretty savy business traveler and a member of Hilton Honors, I asked if we could upgrade our standard deluxe room to the Executive Level... knowing that the Lounge probably included Continental Breakfast and evening Hors d'oeuvres.

To our good fortune, the manager accommodated us and we paid an additional 45Euros for an "upgraded room" and we were put on the Executive Level with the perks that come with it. We had an afternoon snack, and what amounted to dinner, along with continental breakfast the following morning for two people. The food was plentiful and more than above average and cocktails were complimentary!

One thing also worth mentioning is that the vapretto comes right to the hotel... so if you have physical issues with handling lugguge over several canals or need extra assistance with a lot of baggage, I would definitely recommend this hotel. We traveled with my mother and her older friend, and well, I am glad that we stayed here... too much luggage for them to deal with on their own and staying at The Hilton made it very easy.

Thanks to all that recommended this hotel... I am also now endorsing it!

“Elegant 5 star facility!”

Hilton Molino Stucky Venice

5 of 5 stars
Dallas, TX

This beautiful new facility has large rooms & bathrooms, top notch service and staff and wonderful meeting facilities. The room top terrace bar is "must visit" with breath taking views of Venice. The complimentary hotel water taxi that transports you to San Marco was a great service as this hotel is not on the main islands which is great thing when you want peace and queit at night in Venice! It is a bit pricey but then again everything in Venice is! If you are going to spend a lot on a hotel you certainly get a lot for your money at the Hitlon Stucky!
