What can I say that has not been said about Ca' Maria Adele? It's a wonderful place to stay if you want peace and quiet, well apart from the church bells that is.
We had booked a room with a balcony view via the hotel's website, on arrivail we were told our that room was not ready. We were getting the overnight train to Paris in a few days so the concierge gave us a little map of the area and told us how to get to the train station so we could book our seats and by the time we got back our room would be ready, this would take about 45mins.
With our train tickets booked and back at the hotel, we were told our room was ready and that we had been up graded to one of their themed rooms (result) I think it must have been the Moors room because it had two statues of moors boys holding a lamp each. At first I was a little put off but they became my bros by the end of my stay (me being black, but that's not important just a little fun).
Everything about this hotel is clean, friendly and the staff can not do enough for you, your room is visited twice a day, once in the morning and once in the late afternoon to turn you bed down and leave you with rose petals and a face spray and apples on your bed.
Breakfast is a choice from a long list and you can have as much or as little as you like, just one thing, the Italians only have a very little amount of very strong coffee in a cup. Did not get to the roof terrace but maybe next time,
If you want a romantic place to stay at a nice relaxing hotel stay at Ca' Maria Adele.
