We where recommended to the Locanda Sant'Agostin for our first holiday in Venice by some friends and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone else, and already have! This special little hotel was an absolute delight and the staff where fantastic. It is a haven and far from the madding crowd but situated close to many small and delightful cafes and restaurants with culture on the doorstep. The Rialto bridge is only ten minutes walk away through delightful streets and over picturesque canal bridges. We can't wait to visit again.

We stayed for 2 nights in this small hotel, right after the carneval time.

Staff was very helpful and gave us very good hints for non-tourist restaurants and sight-seeing locations. Our double-room was clean and quite small, but that's how it is everywhere in Venice I guess. We ordered breakfast to the room, but if you want to eat more there's also a buffet.

Just one thing: If you're looking for a great view out of your window like it's shown on the hotel website, you probably have to ask for it, otherwise you will probably see a wall if you open the rooms window (that's what happend to us).

we staied to this very beatufil hotel and we had such a wonderful experience, a very pleasant stay.
The staff is so friendly that we really felt like be at home.
we really want to say thanks to all the staff ( Eugenia, Federico, Leonardo and Emanuele) for beeing so helpfull all the time.
The location is really central at easy walking distance to everywhere, and away from the crowd.
We really suggest this place for everybody, also for family.
We relly want to came back again!!!

This hotel was in a great location, being a walk away from Piazzala Roma and all the main sights. In a very central area but still a quiet area. The room was lovely and the staff very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel.
