“Great Value”

The hotel is perfect for value-driven professional couples. There was a full continental breakfast with many choices, and a quaint and large breakfast terrace, complete with a Roman fountain-perfect place in the morning to plan your excursions through this city. The rooms are "European small" but adequate. The wide-set hallways and character mouldings made this small eight-room hotel enjoyable (upstairs is the Belle Suites, connected to Adler). It is centrally located, two blocks away from the Metro station, and walking distance to the train station (get directions ahead of time - it not the easy to find because of its unmarked entry and recessed door). We recommend this hotel for its value, and the guidebooks (such as Rick Steves) accurately describe this hotel. The staff were very friendly, and helped us book our train reservations. During our trip, it was about 36C in Rome, so the air conditioning at full blast was mild. For the price, we would stay here again.

“Great Location, Price and staff”

We stayed for three nights at this lovely hotel with a great location near the train station for those of you planning to travel by train through Europe. It's also near a metro station which is helpful (although the Metro line is not overly huge in Rome). The included breakfast is lovely, especially the red orange juice. The staff is also very helpful. The room we had was nice in size - shower was small, but typical for Europe hotels. Everything was very clean. We booked this hotel using Rick Steves book (which you should get if travelling anywhere in Europe) and tripadvisor reviews and if you book directly with the hotel you should have no trouble with rates (emailing them was very easy and efficient!). There are a few nice restaurants in the area including Target as well, which is helpful after a long day of sightseeing!

We didnt' stay in this hotel BUT- Beware about pricing!! I booked this hotel through Booking.com a few months ago. I emailed them to confirm our price (leaving next week). Alessandro responded and said something went wrong with Booking.com's system and our price was really 110 Euros more for the 3 night stay because they had to upgrade us.

“Small but sufficient”

I found this hotel on Rick Steves guide and booked it after double checking with the reviews on tripadvisor. Perfect recommendation!

The location is great - stone's throw from the bus stop and 3 minutes to the Metro. If you are solo (like I was), the area is safe and secure. If you are a walker (again, like I was), the hotel is not too far from the main attractions.

I booked a single room. It was rather small which is only to be expected in Europe and at this rate. But it was very neat and tidy and even fit in a cupboard for my belongings!

I would recommend this place. However:
a) if you are traveling with no more than two rucksacks / suitcases, else you'll have a problem fitting your stuff
b) The shower cabinet was tiny. My Asian frame which is barely 5'3" could manage to use it, but not sure if a bigger person can have a bath there!

Breakfast was okay. Coffee was great. Staff was friendly.

Cab fare from the Central train station is 4 euros; or you can walk it (15 mins)

“Small Hotel in a Convenient Location”

If you're looking for a hotel with posh amentiies, this isn't the one. If you want a hotel that is well-located, reasonably priced, and with a freindly staff, stay here. Like many hotels of this star rating (2 stars) in Rome, the rooms are small, but comfortable. Nice continental breakfast buffet--lots of choices. Eat on the patio; very nice. A little hard to find, but map it out on Mapquest and you'll be able to locate it without too much trouble. Near Repubblica metro stop--very convenient to the Termini (about a 3 minute walk).
