My mother, sister, and I stayed at the Residenza Antica Roma for seven nights in March - we booked a relatively affordable package through Orbitz for hotel / airfare and wanted a hotel that would be clean and conveniently located. The Residenza Antica Roma was both of these things - so it met our needs wonderfully.
As stated by everyone, the hotel is centrally located - about a 5 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain, a five minute walk from the Spanish Steps, and a five minute walk from the metro station which (once you transfer in Termini) means you can get just about anywhere. It is on a relatively noisy / busy street, but that didn't bother us.
The pictures are representative of the rooms - which can hold up to three people in relative comfort. There is breakfast served every morning up on the 5th floor - your typical European spread.
The thing that made this hotel really exceptional, though, in my eyes was the staff - they went out of their way to help us the entire time we were there! They provided maps, restaurant recommendations, general help, and were always friendly and accomodating. They arranged for our middle-of-the-night taxi ride back to the airport and just were extremely helpful and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about them!
Were I to return to Rome, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in the Residenza Antica Roma again, I'm going to Rome to see the sights, and the Residenza Antica Roma puts you in the perfect location to do so with ease!
