“Good base”

Beni Beach Apartments

Stayed for two nights on a hen do. 5 of us shared a two bed apartment. Paid deposit of 150 euro's which we got back no problem. Staff very friendly and helpful, very good at putting up with group of drunk girls whoch couldn't get their key card to work!
Nice apartment with good balcony. Nice pool. On the beach but currently been refubished, so you can't get to it, but only a few minutes walk to get to beach.
7 euro for taxi into Lavante, reception will book them for you and they come very quickly.
All in all perfect for large groups

“Hard to beat the Beni”

Beni Beach Apartments

Jun 25, 2008

We stayed at the Beni Beach for two weeks in August, it was a last minute booking and I was very apprehensive about the whole 'Benidorm' thing as it's had a reputation in the past of being like 'Southend with sun'. Well we were VERY pleasantly suprised. Firstly when we arrived unfortunately we were dropped at the back of the Beni Beach Apartments.....the outside looked very shabby, my heart sank until we found our way in and was delighted with everything from that moment on. We discovered the front entrance the next day and all was well!!The staff were very friendly, the entertainment was a bit basic, but remember these are apartments not a Hotel, there is the obligatory pool table and a few amusements for the children and a lovely pool area, though it is rather disconcerting that the sunloungers are set up in the carpark (odd!). The apartments themselves are really very nice spacious clean and well equipped. Our balconey was HUGE, and the views simply stunning. I felt we were very lucky to be on the quiet side of the beach, which was literally a stones throw, no more than 50 yards from the apartments, though there is a busy road to negotiate.(I think it was the Poinente side). Just a 10 minute stroll brought you up to the crazy shopping and touristy section. There is a shop to the right when you come out of the apartments, don't use this it's expensive and the people are rude, walk to the left for 5 minutes and there's a lovely little supermarket that does fresh baguettes every few hours and cheap too.The old town is a must to visit very pretty and charming. The beach was HOOVERED every night and the locals seem to take great pride in the whole place. I would definitely go again.

“Loved the Views”

Beni Beach Apartments

We decided to go to Benidorm for 1 week over the halloween school term, Benidorm because my 15 month neice was going and it was only 2 hours on the plane and we wernt sure how she would be on the flight..... turned out to be a nitemare.

Anyway got to beni beach in the early hours and the receptionist guy was sooo friendly and helpful. Got to our rooms and we were pleasantly surprised, basic but very spacious and clean..

In the morning when we got up, we couldnt believe the view from our balcony. Beautiful blue sea and clean sand. And this was October. Weather was lovely. The pool is nice but we couldnt go into it as the water was freezing, well it was october and it was in the shade the time we got back to the apartments in the late afternoon.

Would defo go back and stay at beni beach they were very helpful and the we got clean towels every other day. The only thing is you need to buy your own loo roll, but its cheap in the local shop.

“Exceeded our expectations”

Beni Beach Apartments

To be fair, our expectations were not that high for Benidorm as a resort or the Beni Beach apartments as accommodation but as a party of 5 gay men (sharing two 1 bed apartments) we had one of the best holidays you could imagine and at a cost of just less than £200 each self catering including transfers (booking 5 months in advance through goingplaces.co.uk). The apartments are on the quieter side of the resort but no more than 10 minutes level walk of the Old Town and the well maintained beach is just across the road. The apartment itself was very spacious and would comfortably sleep 4. The fittings are basic but each has a wide balcony from where you can enjoy superb views along the resort coast (standing up sadly as as the balcony's do not have glass fronts - one of very few dislikes) Bearing in mind some of the reviews we had read before leaving we were careful to check every item on the inventory we were given on arrival (a bit of a pain I know, but it only took 5 minutes). Several items were missing,. We reported this to reception who replaced one item straight away and the other was replaced later by housekeeping. Towels were changed mid week only. No problem getting our deposit back (we did leave about 45 minutes before our transfer bus was due to give the staff plenty of time to check the room but I don't think they did. Lot's of places nearby serve a very good English Breakfast for very little money although it is well worth the walk to the far side of the old Town for a much better selection of restaurants in the evening. We found food very cheap but drinks quite expensive, especially in the gay bars. Worth checking the listings for Happy Hour times before you leave. This will also ensure that you are in the busyiest bar at any one time. We did find the weekday nights a little bit quiet unless you were in the right bar at the right time. No one should miss a trip to Terra Mitica (a taxi each way from the hotel was cheap enough), one of the best theme parks in Europe with lots of family rides. All in all we had a terrific holiday, with 4 days brilliant sunshine out of 7 - not bad for the second week in October and for less than £200 each! No problem at all with resort noise at the apartments, a great beach across the road and busy, but not heaving with people at that time of year. As for the Beni Beach apartments they can provide a great base for a reasonably priced holiday in the sun - if you want better simply spend more money! We really would recommend and will be back for sure.
