I am just back from a 4 day break in Madrid and I stayed in the Senator Espana. The hotel itself was lovely friendly staff, rooms very clean and well equiped in every way. Free mini bar in the room too which is fab and restocked every morning by housekeeping. One fault was that our room was quite small and very warm at times, there was airconditioning and a fan but our window was facing into the building, there are 12 floors total and there is a hollow in centre of the hotel from bottom to top, and our window faced into this but it is enclosed so no real fresh air as such. That was the only fault, had a great time and would recommend this hotel, just specify if you can what room you would like.!!! The porters lovely and very helpful.!

Our best hotel experience in Spain. The room was a good size with every possible requirement provided - even tea and coffee making facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was high quality and plentiful. Can certainly recommend.

Went to Madrid for my 40h Brithday for 3 nights,organised a tripfor 14 of us. Went on Trip Advisor to choose the hotel. The Spa Senator Espana is a must, an Excellent Hotel just in the right place. Within Walking Distance of all the main attractions. My Wife and I had a room on the 10th Floor with a balcony over looking the city, what can I say. The hotel has excellent rooms, ther was nobody in our party who was disappointed. The breakfast is very good and plenty of choice. The SPA facilities are good, but will cost you 18euros each. I will be staying here again that is for sure!
