“Perfectly OK but a bit impersonal”

Nice enough 4 star hotel in a decent location but a bit impersonal compared to the smaller hotels we stayed in in Galicia. Guess it's primarily for business travellers.
It was only a 15 min walk from the airport bus stop and about the same to the lovely main square. Also, very close to the beach.
Rooms were a nice size and very clean although two single beds pushed together doesn't make a double in my book.
All in all, not bad for 50euros a night booked a week before but paid less and enjoyed other hotels in Galicia more.

“Centrally located, and at the beach!”

The Zenit Hotel was the PERFECT place for our stay. It exceeded our expectations, especially for European hotels. The room was quiet, the bathroom was very large, and the room was stacked with extra ammenities like cuticle boards, mini kleenex packets, and good wi-fi reception. The staff was friendly and eager to help. It was so conveniently located-- just a few steps from the beach and a short walk to Calle Real where some Great local fare was easy to find. I highly recommend it!

“Excellent hotel in great location”

A very good 4 star hotel in an ideal position. The beach and lengthy promenade are 50 yards away and the old town full of restaurants and bars are within 5 minutes walk. The hotel is spotless and our room was of a good size with king size bed. We booked room only at an attractive price and took a small breakfast at a bar around the corner for 3 euros. Made a mistake in thinking it is only a short walk from the train station, it is almost 30 minutes. We went to watch Deportivo La Coruna soccer match, ground is 10 minutes away on beach front.

View of the Zenit Coruna from the beach

We spent 5 nights of our vacation at the Zenit--four at the beginning and then the last night before our flight out of the airport in A Coruna.

What a great location! Just a block from the beach....We enjoyed our walks along the promenade.

The rooms were a bit small, but not terribly so for Europe. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. However, both times we had to ask for SOAP for our rooms! And bedspreads...

Parking is 12E a day but it is at least available--although they would not guarantee us a spot a week later when we returned despite our asking to book it in advance. Actually parking in the garage with the narrow turn and the narrow parking spots complete with post definitely definitely honed my husband's parking skills!!!

“Fantastic hotel”

Stayed here for a weekend and would highly recommend it.The location could not be better.I minute to the main beach and in the centre of the city.Friendly and helpful staff and very nicely decorated.The room was not very big but very comfortbale and stylish.The breakfast was good and overall would definetely return here.Great hotel !!
