A beautiful, new & well-styled hotel. Quality linens & furniture, an attentive staff & close to Las Ramblas. (A selling point, I suppose, if you like shopping the equivalent of 34th street in Manhattan.) The small pool on the roof is great after a hot day of running around. Beware, breakfast IS NOT included and costs about $20.

This hotel was fantastic in every way. Stop your search - this is it!!! We searched all over the Internet and must have read hundreds of reviews and we are thrilled to say that the reviews were right on and that the Hotel Jazz was fantastic! It has the best location, steps away from the Metro and is in the heart of great shops, dining and fun (be sure to check out the tapas bar directly across the street with the yellow sign and ask for Ricardo. He was very informative and speaks beautiful English. Plus dine on great tapas and sangria). The hotel is beautiful and has every modern amminity that you could want (minus an iron) - comfortable bed, clean and large room, very friendly staff, large bathroom, etc. And best yet, it is a fantastic deal. In fact, the city is filled with great deals on fashion, food, wine, etc. You can't go wrong. Stop searching for hotels and start searching for what you'll do when you are in town. Loved it!!!

Excellent hotel! Great location, friendly staff. Rooms were clean and decently sized with fun decor. Quiet too- even being in the center of everything. The free internet access and bar/lounge area were a nice bonus too.

We stayed for 3 nights in September. When we booked, we requested a non-smoking twin room but was given a smoking room on the fourth floor. The stale smell was too overpowering so we complained. We then got given a non-smoking room on the second floor which the hotel staff kindly rearranged from a double to a twin. The hotel had recently been refurbished so everything felt clean and fresh.

The only complaints we have are:
1. The shower screen was too small and the bathroom floor ended up getting quite wet.
2. We can hear the trains going pass even though we are on the second floor.

Apart from the minor points above, we highly recommend this hotel. Location is superb!!!
