What a wonderful hotel. I selected it based on the Trip Advisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed. We only stayed for one night, arriving at 0800 after a trans-Atlantic cruise. Understandably, the room was not ready, but the front desk staff cound not have been more helpful, offering sightseeing and dining advice, and the promise to call our cell phone the moment the room became available.

Great location, with 5 star restaurants mixed in with reasonable alternatives in the immediate area. Luigi the bartender was very nice and entertaining, and the entire staff was very professional, yet extremely nice.

The room was not large, but clean and nicely decorated, and it met our purposes. I look forward to returning to Barcelona, and will make the Hotel Pulitizer my base.

Just spent 3 nights at the Pulitzer and loved it! The location was perfect! I was traveling alone and felt safe walking back to the hotel at night.

I found the room to be plenty big. The bathroom was lovely with a nice big tub. And tons of hot water too! The towels are HUGE and wonderful to wrap up in after a long hot bubble bath. Heaven!

The staff was excellent! Very helpful and kind.

Nice television but sadly only CNN and SKYtv in English. Of course, I didn't go to Barcelona to sit and watch television so that is really a very minor complaint.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel as part of our honeymoon. The hotel was great, the staff was friendly. And we loved the interior. We did tell this was our honeymoon and the hotel gave us a little attention!! We definially will stay here again if we go back to Barcelona.

The only bad thing was, and that had nothing to do with the hotel. Is that we drove to spain in our own car and some one try to robe us. This was done by the old trick, step a knive in the tyre and wait till it got flat and then when you go out of the car robe you. Fortunally we did not noticed the tyre was flat and we drove into the parking lot oposite the hotel. But be warned !!!!
BTW the hotel gives you a special rate for the parking lot. Ask for it at the reception.

The receptionist was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was modern, the rooms were not very spacious but we didnt spend that much time in the rooms. The lounge/bar was very comfortable, my only complaint was the rude bar tender who always seemed he had something better to do than take our order.
AC was very strong which was much needed coz we went during a heatwave. The location was excellent. the coridoors had hardwood floors which might have woken you up if people were moving suitcases. Also the bar downstairs is in the hotel and it could get a bit noisy especially on the weekends but it was tolerable.
