I recently stayed here for 4 nights and I can highly recommend this Hotel. Location is fantastic, right beside train station and within walking distance to major sights and restaurants/cafes. Room was very comfortable, if a little too warm for my liking. Bathroom very spacious with great shower. I didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food. The only things I didn't like were the lack both of tea/coffee making facilites and english language tv channels.

Just have to endorse what everyone else seems to be saying about this stylish new hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights in August, and got one of the Level rooms for a good price. Very happy with our extremely comfortable room and bathroom. Relaxing over a free drink in the Level lounge in the evening was enjoyable. Free mineral water in room also a nice touch. For breakfast, we preferred to go down to the main restaurant for an even better choice. Service overall excellent.

As for the position, again agree with others that it's ideal. Easy walk to so many sights and museums, plus fantastic transport connections.

We would recommend without reservation.

The Melia Berlin Hotel is a well situated four star hotel at the Friedrichstrasse in Berlin. Directly located at the river Spree and closely located to the next underground station. The hotel owned by a Spanish hotel chain offers modern ambiente and nice rooms. Somewhere located above Novotel and low Mariott standard. The rooms over the regular set of comfortable bed, convenient shower, a FlatTV and wide desk for working. My room price during a major fair was 170 Euro, plus 20 Euro for breakfast. The hotel offers also a Spa on the highest floor.

I stayed in this hotel for a weekend, I chose it due to its central location and proximity to all the sights.

The hotel is new and very classy, the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was also excellent and the bar reasonably priced.
