Although this hotel is not the tourist area, the convenient location right above the subway makes it a non-issue. If arriving from the Munich airport to the hotel, it is unbelievely easy to get to the hotel. The subway makes it just as easy to get to Munich's main attractions.

This hotel is modern and the rooms are of a good size. This hotel is very clean. The staff is polite and efficient. All employees speak English and very well.

The Executive lounge is well stocked for breakfast and drinks.

Hotel is well-situated, and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The surrounding area is pretty blah, as there isn't much to do or go to. The U-bahn (subway) is right by the front door, so there is easy access to the city. Staff is very friendly. Interestingly, the rooms are in much better condition than the public areas.

I have stayed here at least five times in the past two years. I like it's convenient location to the suburbs via the S-bahn and City Center via walking or the U-bahn. The staff are wonderful and very helpful.

We booked this Hilton because of the subway stop underneath during this cold winter weather. When you get off the subway, head toward Muffathalle-Gasteig and you will see the Hilton elevator. Otherwise (as we did the first night), you come up on Rosenheimer Platz and have to walk about a block. The setting of this Hilton is somewhat drab. We didn't walk around that much, but didn't see much in the way of charm in the neighborhood. Hallways are somewhat "motellish" and dreary, but the rooms themselves are nice. We were informed that we had use of the Executive Lounge because of our Gold card, this was a nice surprise and gave us access to free beverages (alcohol selection is good) and fairly basic snacks. The lounge also has free wireless; so bring a laptop if you like. They also have one computer that you can use in the lounge. Breakfast was very good. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Getting to the airport is convenient - take the S8 (S1 takes a more circuitous route). It leaves every 20 min beginning at 4 min past the hour. We would definitely consider staying here again.
